SKY MobileMedia Signs License Agreement with Synergenix; SKY to Offer Graphically Rich mophun Games Engine on Its SKY-MAP Application Platform.

SKY MobileMedia, Inc., a leader in lifestyle-matched mobile multimedia solutions, today announced it has signed a licensing agreement with Synergenix Interactive to include the mophun(TM) mobile gaming and graphics accelerator on its SKY-MAP Platform. SKY-MAP(TM) is the next generation in application platform architecture optimized for mobile multimedia solutions used in cellular handsets. This agreement gives SKY the right to include mophun, distribute it to its customers and enable them to host mophun-based games.

The mophun(TM) technology offers a highly optimized 2D and 3D graphics core, as well as all other features needed to create state of the art mobile games. The accelerated graphics is available not only to mophun games but any application in the phone, including Java Virtual Machines This article provides non-exhaustive lists of J2SE Java virtual machines (JVMs). It does not include a large number of Java Platform, Micro Edition (J2ME) vendors. SKY-MAP's innovative architecture allows the development of optimized, standard or custom mobile multimedia solutions that are independent of the cellular modem Chipset and handset resources. This means that they are completely independent of the GPRS/EDGE, CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) A method for transmitting simultaneous signals over a shared portion of the spectrum.
