SKIP Check-in and Head Straight for Your ANA Flight - RF Technology Saves Even More Time at the Airport for Domestic Flights.Tokyo, Japan, Aug 31, 2006 - (JCN JCN Japan Corporate News JCN Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience JCN Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing JCN Journal of Christian Nursing JCN Job Control Number JCN Journal of Child Neurology JCN joint communications network (US DoD) Newswire) - Building on the success of its innovative check-in service based on web, RF (Radio Frequency) and 2D bar-code technology, ANA will introduce a further enhancement from September 1 this year at 24 airports in Japan. The new service will be known as SKIP. With the present system, customers taking domestic flights who have completed check-in via computer or mobile phone* can pick up their boarding pass in a mere eight seconds at Self Service Check-in Units with a simple touch of an RF chip enabled mobile phone, credit card, ANA Mileage MILEAGE. A compensation allowed by law to officers, for their trouble and expenses in travelling on public business. 2. The mileage allowed to members of congress, is eight dollars for every twenty miles of estimated distance, by the most usual roads, from his Club Card or a 2D bar-code. From there, they proceed to security and to the gate. The new SKIP system skips one stage. Customers who have paid for their tickets and reserved their seats either via internet - using their computer or mobile phone - or at a travel agent, have only to proceed directly to security on arrival at the airport, and thence thence adv. 1. From that place; from there: flew to Helsinki and thence to Moscow. 2. From that circumstance or source; therefrom. 3. Archaic From that time; thenceforth. to the gate, skipping check-in altogether. One touch of their RF chip enabled mobile phone or credit/ ANA Mileage Club Card, or 2D bar code to a sensor at security prints a receipt with the customer's seat number. Once screening is complete they then go to the gate. To make the process more convenient and speedy, three extra security lanes will be provided at Tokyo's Haneda airport - bringing the total to 27 - some of which will be exclusively for SKIP users. At the gate, another touch of the above on a sensor on the gate itself is enough to permit customers to board. A boarding pass is then printed for final seat number verification. To view a video of the service, please visit ANA SKYWEB at: http://www.ana.co.jp/dom/checkin/skip/skip_movie.asx The video is in Japanese only, but is very self-explanatory. To coincide with the introduction of this service, customers using SKIP between September 1 and November 31, 2006 (inclusive) will receive 1,000 yen's worth of Edy** electronic money for every two times they board using SKIP.
