PALMDALE - Six candidates will run for the Palmdale School District The Palmdale School District is a school district that serves a major part of the city of Palmdale, California (USA).

The Palmdale School District was first formed in 1888. Approximately 28,000 students are enrolled in the Palmdale School District.

Candidates who filed by Friday's deadline are accountant John Wielgolinski, communications security See COMSEC.  analyst Tim Murphy, Palmdale planning commissioner Robert ``Bo'' Bynum, retired teacher Dolores Dolores (or Delores) was a common given name (until the 1960s in the USA); it is cognate with the English word "dolorous" (meaning sorrowful) and equivalent in meaning.  Dominguez, PTA PTA or parent-teacher association: see parent education.  leader Kathleen Edwards and Lancaster public works superintendent Ken Meichtry.

The school district will hold a special election Nov. 5 to fill the seat left vacant by the resignation of Logsdon, who moved to the San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley

Murphy, Meichtry, Edwards, and Bynum all ran last November. Bynum, who owns a sports clothing store in Palmdale, and Edwards were endorsed in last year's race by the Palmdale teachers union, along with Epstein.
