The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Center for Public Affairs
 and Museum will offer free admission to veterans of the U.S. armed forces on Memorial Day.

Among the special exhibits on display are ``Gifts of Diplomacy'' from foreign heads of state, and ``Ronald Reagan's American West,'' a collection of personal belongings personal belongings nplefectos mpl personales  from the Reagans' Santa Barbara Santa Barbara (săn'tə bär`brə, –bərə), city (1990 pop. 85,571), seat of Santa Barbara co., S Calif., on the Pacific Ocean; inc. 1850.  ranch.

Alternates sought for transportation board

SIMI VALLEY - The city is accepting applications from Simi Valley residents interested in serving as alternate members on the Ventura County Transportation Commission's Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee.

The CTAC CTAC Chemical Transportation Advisory Committee
CTAC Counter-Drug Technology Assessment Center
CTAC Customer Technical Assistance Center (Sprint)
CTAC Center for Army Tactics
CTAC Carlsbad Field Office Technical Assistance Contractor
 develops and votes on recommendations to the Transportation Commission regarding countywide funding for bike paths, transit grants and other transportation-related infrastructure.

CTAC meetings are held at 1:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month in Ventura.

Riordan to discuss area economics

Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  Mayor Richard Riordan will discuss the region's economics during a special meeting of The Lincoln Club of Ventura County on Tuesday.

The Lincoln Club's 6 p.m. dinner program is open to the community at the Westlake Inn in Westlake Village. Reservations, $30 for members; $35 for guests. Call (805) 496-4456.
