Byline: Daily News

Intricate landscapes carved by a dentist's tool in a sheet of brass will be part of the diverse artwork on display today at an Artisans Faire at the Simi Valley Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  Cultural Arts Center.

The event, coordinated by Artisans Co-Op, will feature original works by various ``visual artists'' from all over Ventura County, said George Holmes George Holmes can refer to:

  • Dr. George Holmes, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bolton.
  • George B.
, chairman of the Simi Valley-based group.

Holmes said the event will be unlike most art shows because of its diversity.

``Most shows focus on the fine arts, like watercolors and oil paintings,'' explained Holmes, who said the Artisans Co-Op is one of the only groups in the county that focuses entirely on visual arts visual arts nplartes fpl plásticas
