SIECUS' International Right Wing Watch.


SIECUS SIECUS Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States  monitors the state of sexuality education around the world. This valuable research is used to produce a monthly electronic newsletter, the International Right Wing Watch, to address the deepening concerns about the international activities of right wing organizations. This digest highlights the activities of far right groups in their own words. For example, over the past year, we've reported on right wing activities in Brazil, Canada, China, Costa Rica Costa Rica (kŏs`tə rē`kə), officially Republic of Costa Rica, republic (2005 est. pop. 4,016,000), 19,575 sq mi (50,700 sq km), Central America. , Ghana, Great Britain Great Britain, officially United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, constitutional monarchy (2005 est. pop. 60,441,000), 94,226 sq mi (244,044 sq km), on the British Isles, off W Europe. The country is often referred to simply as Britain. , India, Israel, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand New Zealand (zē`lənd), island country (2005 est. pop. 4,035,000), 104,454 sq mi (270,534 sq km), in the S Pacific Ocean, over 1,000 mi (1,600 km) SE of Australia. The capital is Wellington; the largest city and leading port is Auckland. , North Korea, the Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Scotland, Spain, South Africa South Africa, Afrikaans Suid-Afrika, officially Republic of South Africa, republic (2005 est. pop. 44,344,000), 471,442 sq mi (1,221,037 sq km), S Africa. , Tanzania, Uganda, and many other countries. It directly reaches and is being used by hundreds of recipients worldwide to advance, strengthen, and inform their advocacy and program efforts.

Current recipients include organizations throughout Canada, India, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Namibia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Portugal, and the United States, among other countries. The recipients forward this resource to others, allowing us to reach thousands of advocates worldwide with critical information to help slow or stop the advances of the right wing movement.
