point of view
camera angles from athletes at the 2001 Summer X-Games in Philadelphia are up on a screen that's six stories high and 82 feet wide with blaring six-channel speakers. Make it in 3-D, and it genuinely would be the ultimate sensory overload

Sensory overload (sometimes abbreviated to SO) is a condition where one or more of the five senses are strained and it becomes difficult to focus on the task at hand.

Imagine ``Endless Summer'' for the baggy-pants generation that straps on helmets, grabs a skateboard or BMX BMX

bike and tries to see how many tricks can be done by jumping off a roof. Among the heroics shown by Brian Burnquist, Travis Pastrana Travis Alan Pastrana (born October 8, 1983, in Annapolis, Maryland) is a motorsports competitor who has won championships and X Games gold medals in several events, including supercross, motocross, freestyle motocross, and rally racing.  and Brian Deegan, the filmmakers at least include the giant-sized consequences of missing: broken bones, ruptured spleens and other internal bleeding.

But the competitors in the movie - even Carey Hart, who can't pull off a back flip on his motorcycle - don't seem to mind it.

Best scene might be a three-minute hypnotic trek down a street-luge course. Hang on. The room isn't tipping, it's just your sense of adventure.

--The cons: There aren't many IMAX screens around town (Santa Clarita, West L.A., Universal CityWalk). And a movie less than an hour for a $9 ticket breaks down to a per-minute rate of entertainment of ... you do the math.
