``On a good day, it takes me only 30 minutes to drive from the city to complete nature,'' said Valerie Regembal, 32, of Los Feliz.

Regembal moved from Paris with her husband and three daughters. Her husband, Francois Regembal, works for transportation company Connex, which provided the shuttle buses.

In France, she said, it often took three or four hours to get away from the city.

``We live in such an urban place, but I'm very impressed with the fact that we're also so close to all this,'' said Regembal.
