SHOWERS BRING FLOWERS AND ANIMALS, TOO.


In April the weather is nice. If it is not nice, in May it will be nice. In spring which is April 21 the flowers bloom and other animals come out from hibernation. The day is longer so we have an extra hour. Some people are on vacation. I would go to Hawaii and go to the beach.

In spring people say, ``April showers bring many flowers.'' What does it mean? It means butterflys come out of there pupas. Squirrels come to see all the flowers. What do you think it means? I think it means people like to see squirrels. It even rains too so the flowers can grow. Birds sing and chirp. It would be a nice day for a picnic. Grass looks very shiny and bees buzz. I think it is fun to do things in Spring.

I think the expression ``April showers'' means that when it rains in April, the flowers get watered. Then in May, the flowers bloom into pretty colors. The grass turns green. Plants start growing bigger. The rain goes away and the sun comes out to play. We can also play in pools and don't need to stay indoors. Now we can play outdoors and play lots of fun games.
