The Cellular South Holiday Extravaganza 2000 will be held November 10-12, 2000, at the Frank Cochran Center in Meridian, Mississippi Meridian is a city located in, and the county seat of, Lauderdale County in Mississippi, a state of the United States of America. Meridian is the fifth largest city in Mississippi and the principal city of the Meridian, Mississippi Micropolitan Statistical Area. .

Presented by the Meridian First Ladies Civitan Club, the Cellular South Holiday Extravaganza 2000 is an excellent shopping experience for the Fast Central Mississippi and West Central Alabama Central Alabama is the region in the state of Alabama that stretches approximately 170 miles (270 km) from the western border with Mississippi to eastern border with Georgia and  area. Featuring over 60 merchants under one roof, thousands of shoppers will fill the Frank Cochran Center searching for the perfect holiday gift. They will have a unique variety of gift items and holiday merchandise to choose from.

, and lots of food are but some of the highlights of this fun-filled weekend.

The weekend kicks off with a preferred shopping event on Friday evening prior to the general public opening on Saturday. A silent auction showcasing select merchant gift items will be featured along with the opportunity to be the first shoppers of the weekend. Refreshments will be served.

The Cellular South Holiday Extravaganza 2000 is the primary fund-raiser for the Meridian First Ladies Civitan Club, with proceeds going to local club, charities as well as to the Civitan International Research Center at the University of Alabama The University of Alabama (also known as Alabama, UA or colloquially as 'Bama) is a public coeducational university located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA.
