According to the study, specialty stores (24%) had the largest increase in Windows NT/2000 year to year and the larger format grocery stores (20.3%) also saw a significant increase. "There appeared to be two strong drivers of the market in 2001," added Buzek. "Smaller specialty stores waited until the last minute to upgrade their systems to accept the Euro currency and larger format food stores improved their technologies to better compete with Wal-Mart's european operations."
