Douglas Mills, 33, is charged with two counts of lewd acts with a child under 14 for incidents that occurred last July 1 and July 3, investigators said.

``The mother of the child brought it to our attention,'' said Sgt. Antonio Rascone with the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County Sheriff's Department's Internal Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Mills has not been arrested and is scheduled to surrender to court officials at his arraignment A criminal proceeding at which the defendant is officially called before a court of competent jurisdiction, informed of the offense charged in the complaint, information, indictment, or other charging document, and asked to enter a plea of guilty, not guilty, or as otherwise permitted  Tuesday in Los Angeles Municipal Court.
