SHARP TARGETS SMALL- TO MID-SIZE BUSINESS MARKET WITH NEW OFFICE PRODUCTS WEB SITE.

"While Sharp digital office products have a strong presence in retail stores, we recognize that more SMB customers are purchasing products over the Internet to save time and focus their energy on running their businesses," says Joseph Rickard, President of SDNA SDNA South Dakota Newspaper Association . "This is a way for us to supplement the offerings of our retail channel partners."

Earlier this year, Sharp announced its first e-commerce Web site to launch its DM-series network laser printer/copier/fax systems. "SDNA will continue to roll out new Internet See Web 2.0 and Internet2.  capabilities to drive sales through our existing channels of distribution," says Rickard. "Each will be tailored to fit the unique requirements of the individual channels. The 'one size fits all' approach does not work on the Internet."

To promote the new site, Sharp is offering free shipping on purchases of $500 or more through December 31.
