SHAREMAX TO LAUNCH "GLOBAL eSUPPLY MAGAZINE" IN JANUARY.

The magazine, and an associated Web site (globalesupply.com), will focus on e-procurement (Electronic-PROCUREMENT) Purchasing online. E-procurement systems are used to obtain materials and parts via the Web or using traditional EDI standards either for internal manufacturing (direct procurement) or office supplies and equipment (indirect procurement).  and other Internet-based collaborative business solutions. ShareMax said the magazine will be targeted to executive-level managers whose responsibilities include planning, specifiying, implementing and managing Internet-based supply management systems.

Editorial will cover industry news, best practices, industry and technology trends, and joint research projects and business surveys in conjunction with strategy + business, a quarterly journal published by Booz & Hamilton Hamilton, city, Bermuda

Publisher Kevin Fitzgerald Kevin Terrel Fitzgerald (born ca. 1951), a native of Denver, Colorado, is a veterinarian at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital. He is notable for being on the Animal Planet show Emergency Vets for many years.  said the goal of the launch "is to become a thought--leader in the growing new field of Internet--based supply management. Our exclusive research will position the magazine and Web site as unique, authoritative sources of strategic, leading--edge information needed by planners, implementers and users of e--procurement systems and other Internet--based supply management tools and technologies." ShareMax Publishing said the magazine will be editorially independent of ShareMax.

ShareMax said the goal of its new publishing unit is to supply leaders in the manufacturing and services industries with data, information and analysis of supply management in general and Internet--based supply practices in particular.
