Welcome to your latest northeast print edition of valleynews.com.

By now, Christmas is a thing of the past and the future lies in the new year.

And although many of us are busy planning on how to celebrate the coming of 2007, maybe we can also spend some time reflecting on 2006.

Throughout the year, events occurred I'm sure that made us smile, laugh ... even cry.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to sit and write a story about some of those good or bad times and share them with the community.

And posting good photos as well would make the memories even better.

Now, we can look forward to the new year and all the hope, dreams and aspirations aspirations nplaspiraciones fpl (= ambition); ambición f

aspirations npl (= hopes, ambition) → aspirations fpl
 that come along with it.

Write about what you hope to achieve next year.

What is your New Year's resolution A New Year's Resolution is a commitment that an individual makes to a project or a habit, often a lifestyle change that is generally interpreted as advantageous. The name comes from the fact that these commitments normally go into effect on New Year's Day and remain until the set ?

Maybe you want to quit smoking, or start being kind to animals. Whatever it is, you might find other people with similar goals.

With that in mind, check out what people in your community have been doing to make things better.

Read on page 4 about the Women's Council of the Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation.

They presented a check for $207,438 to hospital leaders to fund a new high-tech computer system.

And read about a Tujunga woman, Gayle Pool, on page 10 who has had a love affair with Santa Claus Santa Claus: see Nicholas, Saint.

Different ornament names can refer to an ornament from a specific area or time period.  and figurines of Saint Nicholas in all sizes. She even decorates her home with over 3,000 of these.

Don't forget, write about all your wonderful memories of 2006 and of your expectations for the new year.
