The festival gives a great deal back to its community of friends in the form of no-risk entertainment. ``It's like a free sample,'' Padden said. ``No one has to book tickets in advance, or wonder about the relationship of ticket value to performance value. ``And if we offend, we apologize,'' said the actor, paraphrasing a line from ``A Midsummer's Night Dream.''
