Globetech Solutions, the advanced technology engineering and consulting services company, today announced that it was selected by SGI (NYSE: SGI), the world's leading provider of high-performance computing, complex data management and visualization products, to provide design-for-testability services for its recently announced InfinitePerformance(TM) graphics subsystem, currently the fastest graphics system in the world.

Globetech Solutions successfully delivered a complete system testability solution based on hardware testability IP cores and collaborating diagnostic software under the IRIX(R) operating system. This solution is capable of bit-accurate data checking in a real-time environment, allowing for increased testing coverage and fault isolation. By deploying these powerful testability tools for design validation, product qualification, manufacturing and field support, SGI was able to enhance product quality and reliability while at the same time reducing manufacturing and support costs.
