SEX OFFENDER RECEIVES 18-YEAR SENTENCE.

Becker was charged with performing sexual acts on the two 8-year-old boys between May and August 1995. One of the boys told his mother about the alleged molestation molestation n. the crime of sexual acts with children up to the age of 18, including touching of private parts, exposure of genitalia, taking of pornographic pictures, rape, inducement of sexual acts with the molester or with other children, and variations of these  after she questioned him about a $5 bill he had, court records show.

The third victim came forward after the initial charges were filed.

Court records indicate Becker was convicted in 1993 in New York state of felony forcible sexual abuse. Officials at the state sex registration unit in Sacramento said Becker had not registered as a sex offender following the New York conviction, records show.

The incidents involving the two younger boys occurred mostly at Becker's apartment and in a dressing room by a pool in the complex, starting within three months after Becker and his wife moved in, records show.

Deputies who searched Becker's apartment found a box of newspaper clippings of reports of victims of sexual abuse and deaths of children, as well as pictures of young boys from newspaper and magazine ads, records show.

Deputies also found a box containing numerous file folders with the names of young male film and television stars and articles about each of them, records show.
