SEVEN-UP COMPANY ANNOUNCES FILING OF LAWSUIT AGAINST COCA-COLA COMPANY
 DALLAS, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The Seven-Up Company today announced that it has filed a lawsuit against the Coca-Cola Company (NYSE: KO) alleging tortuous interference and other unlawful conduct including certain misrepresentations which the Seven-Up Company alleges the Coca-Cola Company has made to bottlers of its products who also bottle Coca-Cola products.
 The case was filed Feb. 26, 1992, in State District Court in Dallas County, Texas, and seeks compensatory damages in an unspecified amount and punitive damages of $500,000,000.
 John R. Albers, chairman and chief executive officer of the Seven-Up Company, stated that the company would make no other statement regarding this litigation.
 The Seven-Up Company is a major subsidiary of Dallas-based holding company, Dr Pepper/Seven-Up Companies, Inc., the industry's third leading manufacturer of soft drink concentrates and syrups.
