Kevin Smyth (born November 22, 1973 in Banff, Alberta) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 58 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the Hartford Whalers. and Gerry Wall, Ph.D.; an investment company led by Brian Neill, the founder and former chairman of Star Choice Communications Inc.; and SES GLOBAL S.A. Ciel on March 16, 2006 awarded Alcatel Alenia Space with the contract to construct a new spacecraft to be known as Ciel-2. The Ciel-2 satellite is scheduled to launch in late 2008. Ciel Satellite was awarded the final license to operate a spacecraft at 129 degrees West from Industry Canada Industry Canada is the department of the Government of Canada with responsibility for regional economic development, investment, and innovation/research and development.
