SERVICES SET FOR EX-MAYOR HAVEN.Byline: Daily News BURBANK - Private funeral services will be conducted for former Burbank Mayor George William George William, 1597–1640, elector of Brandenburg (1619–40). Mild and irresolute, he was a Calvinist, yet he ruled a Lutheran people. He failed to turn the strategic position of Brandenburg to advantage in the Thirty Years War, and his possessions were Haven, who died Wednesday at age 90 after a short illness. Haven, who served on the Burbank City Council from 1963 to 1973, including two terms as mayor, was born June 1, 1912, in Michigan. He spent his youth on the shores of Lake Michigan, where his father was a lighthouse keeper. He served in the U.S. Navy before World War II. In 1941, he moved his wife, infant son and elderly father to Toluca Lake, where he worked for Lockheed at its Burbank aircraft factory. He later began his own business, Electronic Maintenance Co. In 1951, the family moved to Burbank.
