Craig Petersen used a witness's report of a partial license number for the getaway vehicle, filling in the missing digits on his patrol car computer until he came up with a registration that matched the robbery suspect's vehicle and listed an address only two miles from the bank. ``It was an excellent, persistent piece of police work,'' said Sgt. The Suburban was registered to Myvett at the Talento Way address. Officials suspect that Goff, Myvett and a third man robbed the Homes Savings of America at 50th Street West and Avenue M at 4 p.m. Wednesday, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash. One robber carried a handgun. ``They ran into the bank without saying anything,'' said Gary Auer, FBI supervisor. ``They jumped the tellers cages and robbed the place.'' They drove off in a 1997 Nissan Sentra that they abandoned about a quarter-mile away.
