SER will showcase SERsynergy(TM) 3.1 at the 2002 AIIM Show for enterprise content management (Booth 1417) held in San Francisco from March 6th through March 8th.

The enhanced version of SERsynergy offers two significant new features - a powerful browser access client and enhanced integration with SERdistiller, an automated document capture and data collection application.

Complementing the SERsynergy product, a new browser access client allows users to access SERsynergy through a secured Internet browser environment without installing software on the desktop. Users can quickly search and view checks, documents and reports, in addition to creating notes and annotations.

While most technologies that offer Internet accessibility pair down the power or software's feature content, SERsynergy offers the browser access client feature at the same strength and performance level contained in the native Windows(TM) desktop client.

The newest SERsynergy release also includes another state-of-the-art capability, enhanced integration with SERdistiller. SERdistiller uses advanced intelligence to fully automate document classification and indexing based on content not just format.

This feature greatly improves scanned document input performance and data capture accuracy, ensuring the indexing and capture process is reliable and fast.

On one single, powerful search and view window, SERsynergy brings together the disparate informational elements of a business environment - computer output to laser disk (COLD) reports, scanned documents, check images, email messages, web pages, word processing documents and spreadsheets. Many banks and call centers already employ SERsynergy to manage documents and customer files.

For example, when a customer service representative at a bank's call center speaks with a customer, SERsynergy instantly provides the representative with a single view of all the financial information on one computer screen, i.e. a customer's mortgage application, their account signature card, the previous month's bank statement and a recent cancelled check.
