`Hell's Angels' presentation set

Senior Cinema will present ``Hell's Angels Hell's Angels nplHell's Angels pl ,'' the 1930 World War I film produced by Howard Hughes, at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 9. Suggested donation is $1, popcorn is 25 cents and parking is free. The theater is accessible to those with disability and is air-conditioned.

Free clinics to be offered at center

The following free health clinics will be offered in August at the senior center. A hearing clinic will take place from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the respite office courtesy of Audiology audiology /au·di·ol·o·gy/ (aw?de-ol´ah-je) the study of impaired hearing that cannot be improved by medication or surgical therapy.

Health lectures are scheduled

The following consumer and health lectures will be offered from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesdays during August in Activity Rooms 1 and 2 at the senior center. , New Vaccines'' Aug. 23. Dr. Robert Horth from Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital will present ``Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about High Blood Pressure'' on Aug. 30.

Trips for seniors set for month

The senior center's Trips & Tours Department is offering the following trips during the month of August. A trip to the Pala Casino in San Diego will take place Aug. 9 at a cost of $15. A trip to see ``You're the Tops,'' a cabaret salute to Cole Porter, Gershwin with ``Hello Dolly'' highlights, at the Castaways Restaurant in Burbank will depart at 10:45 a.m. and return at approximately 4:15 p.m. Aug 17. The cost of $60 includes transportation, lunch and the show. A trip to Tijuana for a south of the border lobster lunch, sight-seeing and shopping will depart at 8 a.m. and return at approximately 7:30 p.m. Aug. 23 for a cost of $79. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the center's Trips & Tours Department at (661) 259-9444, Ext. 111.
