Childless couples can explore the latest developments in reproductive endocrinology Reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) is a surgical subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology that addresses hormonal functioning as it pertains to reproduction.  and the medical treatment of infertility at a four-hour seminar Feb. 6 at College of the Canyons College of the Canyons is one of the fastest-growing community colleges in the state. According to the National Junior College Research Association, College of the Canyons consistently ranks in the top 50 community colleges in the nation. .

World renowned researchers, clinicians and embryologists will share their expertise, with a focus on male and female infertility. The seminar, also for medical personnel interested in this field, will meet from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The preregistration pre·reg·is·tra·tion

An early registration, as for returning college students, that takes place before general registration.
 fee is $10 and includes a parking pass.

Reproductive endocrinologists and infertility specialists Sam Njamabadi and Melvin Thornton II will lead the seminar. Both doctors are clinical assistant professors at the University of Southern California The U.S. News & World Report ranked USC 27th among all universities in the United States in its 2008 ranking of "America's Best Colleges", also designating it as one of the "most selective universities" for admitting 8,634 of the almost 34,000 who applied for freshman admission  School of Medicine and directors at the Center of Reproductive Health Within the framework of WHO's definition of health[1] as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, reproductive health, or sexual health/hygiene  and Gynecology of Santa Monica, Pasadena and Valencia.
