SEEING IS BELIEVING: HOUSE TO BE 'BUILT' IN FOUR HOURS TODAY
What takes four hours to build, has 2,000 square feet and will last a lifetime?
Today, Friday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. in Macomb County, a 2,000-square- foot, three-bedroom home (complete with basement and 2-by-6 construction, featuring Andersen windows, copper plumbing, a fully decorated kitchen with wood cabinets, Armstrong flooring, fireplace and cathedral ceilings, a whirlpool tub, completely carpeted and decorated) will be "built" in just four hours on Card Road in Brookside Subdivision, between Hall (M-59) and 21 Mile roads, three miles west of I-94, in Macomb Township.
You have to see it to believe it. A huge crane will lift two modular sections, and it will be weather tight. An attached garage is added, followed by a week or two of final hookups for gas, electricity, telephone and cable television, and the house will be ready for a family's love.
Homes are available by Brookside Development Company, Mount Clemens, and start at $97,000. For further information, contact Tim Meagher at 313-286-3607.
CONTACT: Gayle L. McGarvah, 313-884-1222, or Jeff Kellogg, 313-286-3607, for the event.
