SECURITY ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS GRANTED MEDICAL WASTE DISPOSAL CONTRACT
 BY HOAG MEMORIAL HOSPITAL-NEWPORT BEACH, CALIF.
 GARDEN GROVE, Calif. April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Steven Grossman, president of Security Environmental Systems (NASDAQ: SENV) announced today that the company has been granted a two-year contract for the removal of infectious and hazardous wastes from Hoag Memorial Hospital, Newport Beach, Calif. Hoag Memorial Hospital is the second largest hospital in Orange County, and the largest private facility of its type in the county. It is second largest only to University of California at Irvine's Medical Center which is also a client of Security Environmental Systems.
 Grossman noted that the contract is in excess of $100,000 per year.

 Security Envonmental Systems is one of the largest disposers of medical and hazardous wastes in Southern California. Among its major clients include the County of Los Angeles (70 clinics and four hospitals) including County/USC Medical Center (the second-largest hospital in the United States): the County of Orange (27 clinics and one hospital) including the University of California at Irvine Medical Center; the County of Kern, which includes Bakersfield, a medical complex; National Medical Enterprises; Beverly Manor Convalescent Hospitals (60 hospitals); the Ambulatory Care Division of NME and Baxter Laboratories Travenol Division.
 Security Environmental Systems, founded in 1972, disposes of general biomedical and hazardous wastes by incineration and steam sterilization. The company operates from facilities in Garden Grove, Vernon and Long Beach, Calif.
