 SEC DIRECTOR HEYMAN, CME PRESIDENT BRODSKY FEATURED IN DEBATE
 ON 1987 CRASH, ON FRIDAY, OCT. 16, 1992
 On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the 508-point stock market decline on Oct. 19, 1987, the National Investor Relations Institute/New York Chapter (NIRI) will assemble a panel of leading experts including government, the exchange community and institutional investors to explore "Can It Happen Again? Five Years After the '87 Market Crash."
 Panelists are:
 -- William H. Heyman, director, Division of Market Regulation,
 Securities and Exchange Commission, Washington
 -- William J. Brodsky, president and chief executive officer,
 Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Chicago.
 -- Boniface A. Zaino, managing director, Value Added Funds,
 The Trust Company of the West, Los Angeles/New York.
 The discussion will be moderated by Tim Metz, former Wall Street Journal reporter and author of Black Monday; Oct. 19, 1987 ... And Beyond. The panel will address such issues as the impact of the crash on the marketplace of the 1990s, regulatory progress, the role of program trading and index futures, and the causes of the 1987 crash.
 Professional print and broadcast journalists are invited to attend this special NIRI lunch and panel discussion. A question-and-answer session will follow the panel discussion.
 The lunch takes place at noon on Friday, Oct. 16, 1992 at New York City's Grand Hyatt Hotel (Lexington Avenue at 42nd Street) in the Uris & Julliard Rooms. The meeting begins at noon, lunch is served at 12:30 p.m., and the panel discussion starts at approximately 1 p.m.
