SEASON TICKET BROCHURE AVAILABLE TO MIGHTY DUCKS OF ANAHEIM FANS

ANAHEIM, Calif., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Season ticket information for The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim's inaugural 1993-94 season will be mailed Tuesday (April 20), it was announced today by Tony Tavares, president of Disney Sports Enterprises Inc.
The eight-page brochure will be mailed first to individuals who have placed themselves on a priority list by calling or writing the new National Hockey League team. Fans who have not yet contacted The Mighty Ducks may still be added to the priority waiting list and receive the brochure by calling 800-HOCKEY4.
"We appreciate our fans' patience," said Tavares. "We're all anxious to get this season ticket process rolling and this mailing sets the wheels in motion."
Mighty Duck officials have announced that not all 17,250 seats at The Pond in Anaheim will be sold on a season ticket basis. "A number of tickets will be retained for individual game sales and other special ticket plans which are currently under development," said Tavares.
Tavares noted, "The Walt Disney Co. is committed to donating tickets for Mighty Ducks' games to deserving individuals and organizations throughout the season."
In addition, The Mighty Ducks will set aside a number of seats which will be made available at a special rate. "We hope that anyone who enjoys hockey will have an opportunity to see The Mighty Ducks play in person," said Tavares.
Requests for season ticket information were being received long before the March 1 announcement of The Mighty Ducks' commitment to begin play next season at The Pond in Anaheim, the city's new arena. All inquiries were recorded in chronological order. That same priority listing will be utilized in assigning season seat preference.
The brochure outlines all season ticket options for fans of The Mighty Ducks and includes a seating chart of The Pond in Anaheim. Fans are asked to list, in order, their three seating location preferences and the quantity of tickets desired. A deposit of $250 per seat needs to be returned with the order form and postmarked by May 30, 1993. Only original order forms will be processed and the season ticket order forms are non-transferable.
Confirmation of deposits will be made via return mail, along with terms and conditions of the contract and final payment terms, no later than mid-June. Season tickets will be mailed in August.
Season ticket plans on the Plaza Concourse, or lower level, offer six different options, including viewing locations for the disabled. Prices for the 5,600 seats at this level range from $32 to $125 per seat per game. Season ticket estimates for these seats range from $1,440 to $5,625 per seat. Season tickets for the locations for the disabled are priced at $28.77 per game and $1,294.65 for the season.
The 9,000 Terrace Concourse seats include four options, ranging from $16 to $25 per seat per game. Estimated season ticket prices for these seats range from $720 to $1,125 per seat.
Season prices estimates are based on 45 games, including exhibition games. The cost is estimated because the number of dates could change, based on the 1993-94 NHL schedule, which is yet to be finalized.
A limited number of Club Concourse seats will sell for $5,800, $6,300, or $6,800 per seat, depending upon location. With some restrictions, these seats include tickets to year-round events at The Pond in Anaheim, Calif. Located between the Plaza and Terrace Concourse levels, the Club Concourse is a private, exclusive level. Ticket holders for this area may enjoy a variety of special benefits, including preferred parking, waiter/waitress service and theater- style seats.
