 CHICAGO, June 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Reaffirming its century-long


"Satisfaction Guaranteed" promise to consumers, Sears, Roebuck and Co. (NYSE: S) today encouraged its automotive customers to call their local Sears Auto Center if they are concerned about the service they received because of recent allegations made in California.
 "For 105 years Sears has promised Americans 'Satisfaction Guaranteed' when it comes to quality products and services," said Forrest R. 'Woody' Haselton, president, retail. "While we disagree with the allegations made about us in California, we will correct any mistakes that may have been made and will work in the coming months to resolve these issues. We immediately want to reassure our customers that this commitment to satisfaction continues unabated."
 Sears reminded customers that they can call the company's automated customer service number -- 1-800-669-AUTO -- which was introduced in March to obtain the location and telephone number of their local auto center.
 "Our service technicians at those locations are prepared to answer any questions, resolve any differences and satisfy all customers," Haselton said.
