``This event is definitely for family and friends and anyone interested in the military, wanting to learn more and see new things,'' she said. This marks the 16th Seabee Days celebration, which will kick off at 11 a.m. Saturday with a full-dress military parade. This year also marks the Navy Seabees' 60th anniversary celebration. The event and parking are free. This year the public can take 30-minute tours on one of two destroyers, the USS USS abbr. 1. United States Senate 2. Because of heightened security, visitors must sign up to take a ship tour at the information booth, and adults will need to show identification, Reid said. Ship tours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, except for the Decatur, which ends its tours at 1 p.m. Sunday. Other events include boxing, beach volleyball and softball tournaments, a karaoke contest, activities for children and a classic car and motorcycle show. Food booths also will be featured.
