SDRC Receives Metaphase Contract from Renault VI/Mack Group; Add-on Contract Validates Production Success in the Use of Metaphase at Renault VI/Mack Group.

SDRC (Nasdaq:SDRC), a leading global supplier of enterprise product development solutions and developer of Metaphase(R) Enterprise(TM) and I-DEAS(R) software, today announced that Renault VI/Mack Group has placed an add-on order for SDRC's market-leading Metaphase Enterprise software and related services.

This most recent commitment by Renault VI/Mack Group expands the deployment of Metaphase software as the information infrastructure linking locations in Allentown, Pennsylvania and Lyon, France. The continued rollout of Metaphase signifies the initiation of Phase II of a global initiative to co-develop vehicles between these two facilities. Original deployment of Metaphase will be augmented with comprehensive capabilities for configuration management and document management as Renault VI/Mack Group expands its global product development initiative.

By further deploying tools to manage their product data, Renault VI/Mack Group will increase its ability to establish - and meet - aggressive business goals for its vehicle programs.
