SDRC Certifies Metaphase Cooperative Implementor, Siemens Business Services.

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 1998--SDRC (Nasdaq:SDRC), the worldwide PDM market leader, today announced the certification of Siemens Business Services (SBS) as the first Certified Cooperative Implementor in the Metaphase(R) Enterprise(TM) Solution Provider ((e!sp(SM)) program.

Implementation members of the e!sp program extend the reach of SDRC's Worldwide Services division to support Metaphase product data management (PDM) solutions. Cooperative implementors provide a highly skilled pool of PDM consultants who offer expertise in Metaphase applications and its proven Metaphase Solution Delivery Methodology ((MetaSDM(TM)).

To join the e!sp program, implementors must meet several requirements, which include demonstrated PDM expertise and experience applying a reusable implementation methodology. To become certified, implementors must be e!sp members with extensive experience delivering Metaphase Enterprise PDM systems into production. Certified implementors must comply with approved implementation guidelines, and demonstrate a commitment to follow-through and ongoing support of the implemented solution, as recognized by a Metaphase steering group.
