When employees confronted the men outside the store - the suspects left without attempting to pay for the items, according to witness statements - there was a brief scuffle. One suspect ran through the parking lot while the other tried to get into his car.

``One ran across the parking lot toward Wood Ranch (restaurant) and was caught by responding deputies,'' Cambra said. ``The other one tried to get in a car but the employees managed to keep him from getting in.''
