SCRIPPS HOWARD BROADCASTING COMPLETES SALE OF BALTIMORE RADIO STATION

 CINCINNATI, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Scripps Howard Broadcasting (NASDAQ: SCRP) today said it has completed the sale of its Baltimore radio station, WVRT-FM, to Raleigh, N.C.-based Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc. The company announced the sale, valued at $9.75 million, on July 22.
 The company expects to soon complete the sale of its remaining radio stations, KUPL-AM and FM in Portland, Ore., to San Francisco-based BayCom Oregon L.P. Yesterday the company completed the sale of Memphis' WMC-AM and FM and WMC-TV.
 Following the sale of the remaining radio stations, Scripps Howard Broadcasting, an 86-percent owned subsidiary of The E.W. Scripps Company (NYSE: SSP), will operate nine television stations.
