When the assignee of heritable rights conveys his rights back to the cedent, it is called a retrocession. Erskine, Prin. B. 3, t. 5, n. 1; Dict. do Jur. h.t.  coverage against European windstorm and Japan earthquake risks. The multiyear property catastrophe retrocession bond will provide 120 million euro (about $158.1 million) of coverage against second and subsequent European windstorm and Japan earthquake events from Jan. 1, 2007, to Dec. 31, 2009.
