The new Middleware Profile v2.0 builds on the foundation laid with, and is a companion document to, version 1.0. Version 1.0 prioritized the major services already specified by the SA Forum. Version 2.0 of the profile adds to Version 1.0 by clearly identifying perceived gaps in the current specifications published by the SAForum. This profile is expected to help the ecosystem follow a NEP NEP: see New Economic Policy.  focused roadmap leading to accelerated availability of interoperable Carrier Grade Base Platforms.

The Middleware profile version 2.0 is now available and interested parties may view and download it "Download It" is Clea's debut single. It was released in the UK on September 22, 2003 and missed the top 20 charting at #21.
