SCOLR Pharma Partner Introduces Three New Products Based on SCOLR Technology.

BELLEVUE, Wash. -- SCOLR Pharma, Inc. (AMEX: DDD) today announced the introduction of three once-daily CDT[R] based private label products -- Glucosamine/Chondroitin Sodium Free, Glucosamine, and Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM -- by its alliance partner, The Perrigo Company. The introduction took place at the Private Label Manufacturers Association 2006 PLMA Trade Show in Rosemont, Illinois, earlier this week.

The three new products are based on SCOLR Pharma's patented CDT (Controlled Delivery Technology) platform. SCOLR Pharma's platform enables delivery of active pharmaceutical, OTC, and nutraceutical ingredients from a tablet or capsule over an extended time period.

SCOLR Pharma previously reported the launch of its once-daily CDT[R]-based Glucosamine/Chondroitin by Perrigo. Under the previously reported alliance, Perrigo agreed to manufacture, market and distribute certain of SCOLR Pharma's dietary supplement products in the United States.

Perrigo is a global healthcare supplier and the world's largest manufacturer of OTC pharmaceutical and nutritional products for the store brand and contract manufacturing markets. SCOLR Pharma said it expects additional CDT-based product introductions by Perrigo in the coming year.
