SCHUSS MOUNTAIN SLOPES OPEN FOR 25TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON

BELLAIRE, Mich., Nov. 19 ~PRNewswire~ -- Shanty Creek-Schuss Mountain Resort in Bellaire will open for skiing Saturday, Nov. 21 at 9 a.m. at the Schuss Mountain Ski Area.
The opening has been made possible by the early snowfall and the cold temperatures which have made for great snowmaking conditions. Slope conditions will be groomed with up to a 24-inch base.
"It's going to be a great 25th anniversary season," said Terry Schieber, president and chief operating officer. "Advance bookings are up 30 percent over last season and we are looking for a great white winter."
Weekend events also include the 6th Annual Arts & Crafts fair from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21. For further information, call 800-678-4111.
Shanty Creek-Schuss Mountain is operated by Dallas-based Club Resorts Inc., a leading privately held golf and conference resort company with destinations in the U.S. and Caribbean.
Club Resorts is a subsidiary of ClubCorp International and an affiliate of Club Corporation of America (CCA), the world's largest operator of private city, country and athletic clubs.
