SCCI Opening Long Term Acute Care Hospital in San Angelo
New hospital will expand San Angelo's continuum of care
DALLAS, June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- SCCI (Spectrum Comprehensive Care, Inc.) recently announced it will open a 37-bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital in space leased from Shannon Medical Center on its St. John's campus, 2018 Pulliam Street, San Angelo, Texas. A SCCI spokesman indicated that renovations will be completed later this summer.
The new SCCI Hospital - San Angelo is scheduled to open in early September and will effectively expand the continuum of care available to residents of Concho Valley.
SCCI's critically ill, medically complex patients typically have multi- system failures/complications and require an intensive hospitalization averaging over 25 days. Barbara Seale, SCCI's Vice President-Programs & Services states, "Our goal is returning critically ill long-stay patients to their optimal level of health and independence through cost-effective specialized treatment programs."
