Under the terms of the five-year contract, SBC companies will deliver a Voice over IP (VoIP) solution utilizing the Cisco Systems(R) Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data (AVVID AVVID Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data (Cisco)

The new services, to be implemented as the team moves its facilities to the new Busch Stadium in 2006, will provide a feature-rich system that will allow the Cardinals to enhance day-to-day operations, from ticket sales to business call management. SBC companies are the primary service provider for data, network and voice services for the St. Louis Cardinals.
