SAN ANTONIO -- Ordering over the Web can now net consumers the heftiest savings on the most popular SBC unlimited local and nationwide calling bundle. In addition, consumers in the market for speed can still take advantage of a limited-time $19.95 online-only SBC Yahoo! DSL promotion.

SBC Communications Inc. (NYSE: SBC) announced today that residential customers who order ALL DISTANCE SELECT online at www.sbc.com/unlimitedld will receive the unlimited SBC local and SBC Long Distance calling plan for $39.99 a month(1), the company's best-ever rate for an all-you-can-call direct-dialed nationwide calling bundle. Customers who don't order over the Web receive the All Distance package, which also includes voice mail service, for $48.95 a month.

Online subscribers to ALL DISTANCE SELECT receive Caller ID and their choice of two of the most popular calling features, which may include Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, Three-Way Calling or Privacy Manager. Plus, customers receive an SBC inside-wire maintenance plan.

The sbc.com promotions are designed to drive customers to the Web to order SBC products and services and to manage their communications and entertainment needs online.
