BANK OF AMERICA

Bank of America is the largest lender of Small Business Association loans in the greater San Fernando Valley once again, with 216 loans awarded during the 2004 fiscal year. The total amount of SBA loans the bank awarded equaled $7.9 million, with an average loan size of $36,747.

The number and value of loans awarded was down somewhat from last year, when the bank awarded 239 SBA loans in the greater San Fernando Valley, with a total value of $8.6 million.

Bank of America, which is also the top SBA lender in the country in terms of the number of loans awarded, provides SBA loans to small but established businesses.

SBA loans awarded. Loan information was provided by the
U.S. Small Business Administration. Additional
