 SBA EXTENDS WORKSHOP TO ASSIST STORM VICTIMS
 BOSTON, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Small Business Administration


(SBA) acting Regional Administrator Michelle Lutz Meade announced today the extension of two strategic, disaster loan application workshops in Massachusetts for victims of the major coastal storm which occurred Oct. 30 through Nov. 2, 1991. SBA representatives will be in Revere and Scituate, Mass. on the following dates at the times stated:
 Revere Scituate
 Revere High School Scituate High School
 101 School St. Cafeteria A
 Revere, Mass. Route 3A
 Scituate, Mass.
 Monday - Wednesday,
 11/25 - 11/27 Monday & Tuesday,
 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 11/25 & 11/26
 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
 Closed Thanksgiving Day
 Wednesday, 11/27
 Friday & Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon
 11/29 - 11/30
 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving Day
 Friday & Saturday, 11/29 & 11/30
 Closed Sunday
 Monday - Saturday, 12/2 - 12/7
 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
 All victims -- homeowners, renters and business owners -- in need of SBA disaster loan assistance to rebuild should visit a wprkshop immediately. No appointment is necessary. SBA loan officers are available to answer questions, issue loan applications and provide help in filling out application forms.
 According to Meade, SBA offers disaster victims low-interest loans at either 4 or 8 percent, with term up to 30 years for rebuilding purposes. Economic injury disaster loans are also available to small business owners unable to pay bills or meet operating expenses due to the storm.
 Anyone who has not registered with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Teleregistration Hotline should do so by calling 1-800-462-9029 before coming to the workshop.
 Those victims who have registered with FEMA and who are unable to visit the temporary workshop may call toll-free at 1-800-221-2093 for information and loan application forms. The application filing deadline is Jan. 3, 1992.
