SAUDI ARABIA - Apr 10 - Wahhabi Militant Threatens Regime & Americans.


In a video carried on an Islamist website called Dirasat, a masked man identified as Abdel Aziz Al Muqrin, a Saudi Wahhabi militant wanted by government security forces, urges the killing of Americans and threatens all Arab regimes co-operating with the US. He says Americans are yet to feel the "real fires of battle". In an apparent reference to the guerrilla uprising in Iraq, he said Washington faces another Vietnam. The voice says: "O mujahideen mujahideen

In its broadest sense, those Muslims who proclaim themselves warriors for the faith. Its Arabic singular, mujahid, was not an uncommon personal name from the early Islamic period onward.

The video was posted on the website as US-led forces faced growing rebellion from both Sunni and Shiite guerrillas in Iraq. The voice says: "The mujahideen will target the crusaders at first. As for the apostate, agent rulers their day is coming soon, God willing, after we are done with their masters and the convoys of martyrs

(The man dressed in brown fatigues and holding an automatic rifle is speaking in Arabic. Abdel Aziz Al Muqrin was reported last month to have taken over leadership of the terrorist network in Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabia (sä`dē ərā`bēə, sou`–, sô–), officially Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, kingdom (2005 est. pop.  after the killing of the former top operative Khaled Ali Ali Haj. This month, a strategy paper posted on a website and signed by Muqrin lists Jews, Americans and Britons as main targets and calls on militant cells worldwide to "turn the infidels' lands into hell"). The man in the video warns Muslim rulers as well as security and intelligence forces against confronting militants at pain of death.
