SAP delivers Internet-based e-recruiting. (New Products).

SAP AG recently announced the delivery of automated, Internet-based e-recruiting capabilities in its human resources solution mySAP Human Resources (mySAP HR). mySAP HR E-Recruiting is comprised of three key features -- talent warehouse, requisition management and posting management -- to better cover and streamline key recruitment processes from recruitment planning and job posting to hiring and retaining talent. The capability helps enable human resources professionals to better identify qualified candidates and manage relationships with current and potential employees. Online career sites and recruitment services have provided HR managers quicker access to a broader pool of potential candidates. mySAP HR E-Recruiting was designed to help leverage the speed and reach of the Internet with tools to improve procedures for finding qualified candidates and strengthening the relationship between companies and potential employees. The basis for talent relationship management in mySAP HR E-Recruiring is the talent warehouse, a central database of employees and external candidates. This feature provides HR personnel with an overview of their current and potential talent pool. The talent warehouse helps HR to fill current job openings and maintain ongoing relationships with qualified candidates for whom no positions are currently open. The feature can integrate external and internal recruitment into a single, standard platform, where candidates can increase career options while line management gains a larger pool of potentials. Workflow-based tools help streamline requisition and job-posting processes. The requisition management functionality enables an automated flow of information and tasks. HR staff can generate requisitions that are then sent to the respective managers for approval. If approval is granted, the system generates a job announcement that can be automatically distributed with the posting management feature of mySAP HR E-Recruiting.
