SANYO Introduces World's Smallest, Lightest Digital Movie, Still Camera.


Tokyo, Japan, Oct 24, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - SANYO Electric introduced the "Xacti" DMX-C6, an ultra compact digital movie camera, in Japan on October 20. The camera incorporates MPEG-4 digital recording for high quality images and sound.

Storage comes in the form of an SD Memory Card. While shooting moving images, users can also capture still images with a simple shutter press. The DMX-C6 achieves TV-quality VGA (Video Graphics Array) The display standard for the PC. All PC display adapters support VGA, and Windows machines boot up in "VGA mode" before switching to higher resolutions.  30fps moving pictures and 6.0 mega pixel still images.
