Don't underestimate the power of hair. "American Idol's" Sanjaya Malakar has tried the rooster look, the ponyhawk, the Shirley Temple and the David Cassidy -- and America is split.

Whether it's wavy, straight or curly, Sanjaya's high-density coiffure has overshadowed his singing ability (and nobody's complaining).

Will he go chrome dome tonight and stay another week? Or will it be a case of hair today, gone tomorrow?
