SANBORN ANNOUNCES SUCCESSFUL ENTRY INTO THE MEXICAN MARKET

 WRENTHAM, Mass., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Sanborn, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBRN), "Leaders in Liquid Waste Management," today announced that the company has made successful entry in the distribution of its industrial pollution equipment in Mexico. Sanborn's liquid waste control systems are marketed through its distribution agent Cintron, Lehner & Barrett of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, under an agreement signed in February of this year.
 The company's expansion strategy in Mexico was based upon that country's desire to reduce manufacturing pollution as it becomes a major trading partner with the United States. Since the signing of the distribution agreement, Sanborn has received contracts from subsidiarie of Emerson Electric, Caterpillar Tractor and General Motors.
 Steven R. Friedman, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Sanborn, stated that the Mexican market is an important part of Sanborn's international expansion plans. Friedman indicated that Sanborn has moved heavily into the international marketplace over the last year and believes that the company's recent expansion into Europe and Mexico represents excellent long term growth potential for the company.
