 SAN ONOFRE UNIT 3 OUT OF SERVICE FOR TURBINE MAINTENANCE
 SAN CLEMENTE, Calif, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Unit 3 at the San


Onofre Nuclear Generating Station was taken out of service yesterday (Sunday, April 19), for maintenance, according to Southern California Edison, operators of the facility.
 The 1100-megawatt generating unit is expected to be out of service for about seven days. During the outage, plant crews will inspect and balance the unit's turbine.
 Units 1 and 2 at San Onofre are in operation at this time.
